A Study of Revelation · Lesson 12
Worthy the Lamb
This lesson examines the worship of the Lamb in Revelation 5, where Jesus alone is found worthy to take the sealed book because He was slain and redeemed people to God by His blood. The lesson also explains that Christ’s authority is rooted not merely in His power, but in His moral and redemptive worthiness. Finally, it looks forward to the saints’ calling as kings and priests and to the day when every creature joins heaven in giving blessing, honour, glory, and power to God and to the Lamb.
"Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; "
